Air Conditioning System Technology (3 January 2017)

This course is to introduce the concept of Air Conditioning systems. Air Conditioning system has become the main component in buildings. The participants will be exposed to the theoretical and practical aspects of the basic operation and the maintenance of split unit, package unit and chiller systems.

Through this approach, participants will be able to learn the actual case studies for better understanding on air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation systems as well as the proper sizing, selection, installation, appropriate maintenance and the correct use of air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation system. This workshop also demonstrate a well-proven approach used in reducing the energy running costs of air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation system through housekeeping and system re-commissioning.
