Compressed Air Systems : Operation, Maintenance and Safety (10 & 11 Oct 2016)

Compressed air generation systems are used in many types of industrial applications. Good understanding in basic principle, operation and maintenance of compressed air systems are essential for optimal compressed air performance and its quality.

This workshop is aimed to enhance the participant’s understanding on the basic principle and operation of compressed air systems, enhance skill in maintenance and troubleshooting toward cost saving, safety and healthy working environment, include familiarization on Malaysia Acts and Regulations in relation to compressed air.

Participants are exposed to the latest information on practical aspects of compressed air systems and extensive discussion on maintenance and troubleshooting.

OBJECTIVE

• To provide participants with the basic principles, technical knowledge on practical compressed air systems.
• Selection of equipments in compressed air system such as compressors, air treatment and filtration, and compressed air distribution piping.
• Operation and maintenance of compressed air equipments.
• Safety and requirement of Malaysia acts and regulations in relation to compressors and pressure vessels (tank).

Modul 7 : Treatment and storage of compressed air: Filter, Dryer, Receiver
Modul 8 : Piping and distribution of compressed air
Modul 9 : Installation, maintenance and inspection
Modul 10 : Safety and requirement of Malaysia Acts and Regulations
