Graduates ENhancEment pRogrAmme for Employability (GENERAtE) Program
Pembangunan Sumber Manusia Berhad (PSMB) is establishing the implementation of the Graduates ENhancEment pRogrAmme for Employability (GENERAtE) as part of the initiative to improve the condition of our current unemployed graduates in the country.
- 1The Objectives
The objectives of the GENERAtE programme are to equip, develop and assist unemployed graduates:
i. with high end skills and competencies that are required by the industries that will enhance their employability;
ii. with relevant working experience that can enhance their employability;
iii. in exploring new route path for their careers; and
iv. in job placement. - 2Target Group
The GENERAtE programme is opened to all Malaysian graduates whom have successfully acquired their Diplomas, Degrees or equivalent.

Training Assistance Scheme (SBL Scheme)
Skim Bantuan Latihan (SBL), is the main scheme under Human Resource Development Fund (HRDF). Under this scheme, employers are free to identify their own training needs and to implement their training programmes to retrain and upgrade their employees’ skills in line with their operational and business requirements.

The objective of this scheme is to encourage employers to retrain and upgrade their employees’ skills in line with their operational and business requirements.
- 2Eligibility Requirements For Employers
All registered employers with HRDF and have paid the levy for the first month of registration are liable to apply for the training grant, subjected to the existing rate of financial assistance and terms and conditions.

Special Training Assistance Scheme (SBL-Khas)
Special Training Assistance Scheme (SBL-Khas), is a major scheme of the HRDF. Under this scheme, financial assistance in the form of training grants may be considered for all types of training programs tailored to the needs of employers registered with HRDF.
- 1The Objectives
The objective of this scheme is to encourage employers to retrain and upgrade skills of workers in line with their company’s business needs.
- 2Eligibility Requirements For Employers
All employers registered with HRDF and have to pay the HRD levy for the first month of registration are eligible to apply for training grants, subject to financial assistance and the terms and conditions determined by HRDF from time to time.
